The purpose of this information is to provide guidance to health professionals in the management of patients with cardiac implantable electronic devices (CIEDs) during radiation therapy simulation, planning and treatment. Only health care professionals who have attained competency as per institutional guidelines should perform the included procedures. This document should be used in conjunction with expert clinical judgement and individual institutional guidelines or policies.
