The treatment of sarcoma is complex and combined modality therapy is common; the involvement of a multidisciplinary team (MDT) in the initial development and ongoing evaluation of the treatment plan, and the management of the sequelae associated with treatment is strongly recommended.  Patients with sarcoma should be considered for inclusion in a clinical trial. For details of centres that specialise in sarcoma care and current clinical trials visit the Australian and New Zealand Sarcoma Association (ANZSA) website.
