There are an increasing number of guidelines, papers and information for patients and carers being published locally and globally relating to COVID-19 and cancer patients. We will anticipate to provide access to relevant material that may support cancer services during this time. This page will continue to be updated as further guidance is available. Please let us know if you have any useful resources we can include by emailing feedback@eviQ.org.au
- Local facility circumstances are extremely variable and likely to be impacted to different extents by COVID-19 related issues, therefore facilities’ response to COVID-19 should be implemented at a local level.
- eviQ will not be making amendments to individual treatment protocols on the website in response COVID-19.
- eviQ is mindful of the increasing pressures facing the health care system and individual clinicians. All formal eviQ reference committee meetings scheduled until June 2020 have been postponed or cancelled and we are continually reassessing how we progress priority work while minimising impact on clinicians’ workload at this time.
- eviQ will prioritise developing and publishing new cancer treatment protocols to ensure the eviQ content is up to date while also balancing the impact on clinicians’ workload at this time.
