Note: The 2015 version of Chompret criteria has replaced the 2009 version of Chompret and modified Tinat criteria
Families meet the criteria for testing if any of the following are present:r
Familial presentation:
- Proband with tumour belonging to LFS tumour spectrum (e.g. sarcoma, brain tumour, premenopausal breast cancer, adrenocortical carcinoma) before age 46 years AND
- at least one first or second-degree relative with LFS tumour (except breast cancer if the proband has breast cancer) before age 56 years or multiple primary tumours at any age.
OR
Multiple primary tumours:
- Proband with multiple primary tumours (except multiple breast tumours), two of which belong to LFS tumour spectrum, where the first occurred before age 46 years.
OR
Rare tumours irrespective of family history:
- Patient with adrenocortical carcinoma, choroid plexus carcinoma, embryonal anaplastic subtype rhabdomyosarcoma, or sonic hedgehog subtype medulloblastoma, especially if childhood onset.
OR
Early-onset breast cancer:
- Breast cancer diagnosed before age 31 years.
